Ohio Uninterrupted

We've just entered the second half of 2017, and while it's relatively quiet here on the blog, I can assure you that it's anything but! My most recent body of work, Hocking Hills is winding down after three years of study, with a new nature project on the horizon. In partnership with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources' Division of Natural Areas and Preserves (ODNR DNAP) and the Greater Columbus Arts Council, I'm happy to announce my latest concept, "Ohio Uninterrupted". For the remainder of the 2017 calendar year (maybe more), I'll be visiting, experiencing, and documenting Ohio's various state nature preserves.

As I get more of these locations photographed and prints made, updates will make there way onto the main site as well as the Flickr portfolio. For now, please enjoy some additions to my open series of infrared trees:

If you'd like to tag along on a shoot or have a good tip about any of Ohio's 130+ state nature preserves, please feel free to contact me. Until next time, have a happy summer and shoot more film!
