This Kallitype print was one of my first test prints from a fresh batch of ferric oxalate (one of the sensitizers for alt process). The print has a lot of the mood I’d intended from the original negative, but the hand-painted coating missed a little at the top of the frame. As such, I processed, fixed, and washed the print but did not tone it. Untoned prints are not rated for as long a lifespan as their selenium toned counterparts, hence the better price! Made on 11x15” pre-cut Hahnemuhle Platinum Rag paper.
